I’m back at Micah’s house. His lovely wife makes the best coffee. He’s pretty funny, and houses a bunch of runaway teenagers whom he’s teaching to be hackers. The police station was nerve-wracking, but only because of my paranoia. They were perfectly polite and only asked when I had last spoken to CeCe. This was a bit tricky because I thought they might pull phone records, but they were pretty nonchalant, just doing paperwork, and didn’t even ask for my phone number. I said I couldn’t remember when I had last spoken to her, but that it was in the last few days. They let me go after about an hour.
This morning the paper says it was a foiled robbery, that she walked in on some robbers who shot her in a panic and ran away. Of course, Micah and I aren’t so sure. Boone is coming in tonight and Micah has been texting him about it. They both plan to hire some people investigate on the sly.
We are now working on my next mission, which The Corp has sent as a “revised” mission. They are referring to it as “Triangulation” and say that I’ve already been given the first clue.
The only clue I’ve been given is the string of numbers on my screen, which my friends translated and emailed to me. Micah helped me figure out the line breaks. We still have no idea what this means. I’ve also added the map I was given to the bottom of this post.
